Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Albert Koger (October 30, 1926 - May 8, 2013) Albert Koger, 86, passed peacefully from this life, May 8, 2013, in Snowflake Arizona. Albert was born October 30, 1926 to parents Jess Koger and Grace (Wood) Koger, in Sibley Missouri. He moved to Arizona after World War II, where he met the love of his life at a church function. They were married at the First Baptist Church in Miami Arizona on January 22, 1950. They enjoyed many activities together such as camping and fishing. They made their home in Snowflake, Arizona for 52 years. Albert was a veteran who served in the navy during World War II. Albert is survived by his wife Ernestine Koger; children Gail Koger, Jerry Koger and Linda Poulter and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by his son James Koger. Services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Burton Baptist Church on Burton Road in Show Low Arizona. There will be a viewing at 9:00 AM with services starting at 10:00 AM, interment will take place after the services on Saturday at the Snowflake Cemetery, in Snowflake Az.
