(Maiden Name: LoBono)

Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - On Monday October 10, 2011, our dear Mother & Grand-Mother Georgette Rita Squier passed away at the age of 93. She was born on September 17, 1918 in San Jose, California to Guiseppe & Anna Turturici Lo Bono. There were six children, Josephine (deceased ), Rosalie, Georgette, Tony, Marie (deceased ) & George. She was 28 when she and her sister Rosalie moved to Costa Mesa in So. California with their children Linda, Deanna & Dale and brother George. They opened the Trio Café and became known for having some of the best food in town. She met her future husband Richard there, a widower with a young son Ronnie. They married in June of 1950, and began their marriage with a 13 ft. camping trailer. From then on they lived a life full of travel and adventure, camping and fishing (She always caught the most fish) their way across the U.S. Canada & Alaska. Mom had the trailer packed and ready to go every Friday. They especially loved the warmth of the Arizona sunshine and moved to Lake Havasu City in 2001. She was a loving and kind person to all, but especially her grand-children, Christine Cook, Donald Fellbaum (deceased) Daniel Fellbaum, Michael Dougherty & Judy May Russell (Michael). She is survived by her daughter Linda Hord & husband Dennis; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews & nieces; sister Rosalie; brothers Tony (Lou Ann) & George(Donna). Richard passed away in 2008. She missed him daily and looked forward to the time she would be with him again. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had great faith in the Resurrection. Her ashes will be taken to Northern California so she can be with Richard once again. A memorial service is planned for the spring, her favorite time of year.
