Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home an Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Michael Wayne French, 70, of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011. He was born in Evansville, IN on March 15, 1941 to Joseph and Lila French. Michael retired ten years ago from Rockview Farms in Downey, CA. Eight years ago he moved to Lake Havasu City where he enjoyed the beauty of the desert mountains and scenic Colorado River. He enjoyed boating, fishing and walking his dogs, Gizmo and Cha Cha. Michael was a great husband, devoted father and friend to many. He went out of his way to helping others no matter the reason. He was always good for a laugh and great conversation. Michael leaves behind his wife Linda of 42 years; sons, Michael Wayne Jr., Michael Joseph, Steven Douglas and daughters, Joy and Dawn (Al) Flores. He is also survived by his mother, Lila of Evansville, IN; brothers, Ron (Kathy) of Newburgh, IN and Gary of Evansville, IN; sisters, Sherry Edwards and Lana Jarvis, both of Evansville, IN. He will also be dearly missed by his fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend a view on Thursday, August 4, 2011, between 6:00 and 8:00 PM and the memorial service on Friday, August 5, 2011, 10:00 AM., to be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
