Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - James William Walden, 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on April 09, 1934 in Maitland, MO. to William and Geneva Walden. Jim married Kathe Walden on June 30, 1979 in Las Vegas, NV. Together they moved to Lake Havasu City 17 years ago, coming from San Francisco, CA., where he resided for 40 years. Jim enjoyed reading, took pride in his desert garden, was an avid 49er fan and a proud member of the Teamsters Union and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4299. Jim and Kathe loved spending time with family and friends, their dog Punkin and entertaining at their home. Jim will be deeply missed. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Kathe Walden; children, Debbie (Dan) Castagna of Corte Madera, CA., Susan (Tom) McConnell of Lexington, KY. and Noelle (Dave) Miller of Faribault, MN.; granddaughters, Lauren Claywell, Amy McConnell, Zoe and Alison Buscho; great granddaughter, Kennedy Claywell; sister, Valerie Appleton.
