Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Shirley Rae (Watson) Hunt, 84, passed away in the comfort of her own home on April 05, 2013 with her 6 children by her side. She was born on June 06, 1928 in Plainfield, NJ. to Peter and Mildred Aagaard. Shirley lived in Cranford, NJ until she married LeRoy Watson. Together they moved to Blythe, CA. in 1955, where she raised her seven children. In 1980 she moved to Lake Havasu City where she worked at Safeway until she retired in 1993. Shirley was an avid animal lover and loved to travel and see her children in several different states. She will be deeply missed and always loved. Shirley is survived by her children, Peter R. Watson, Donna M. Kozar, Gwen D. Baier, Rex A. Watson, Rory J. Watson and Aletta D. Downey; sister, Barbara Crissy; 4 half siblings; 13 Grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 step kids and 9 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Rae Watson and her parents, Peter and Mildred Aagaard.
