NUNNO, Leona

Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Leona Nunno, 90, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on December 04, 1920. Leona was a long time resident of Cape Cod, Mass. and Lake Havasu City, AZ. before being called to heaven. She was an active member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for almost 60 years until a decline in her health slowed her, but certainly did not stop her from enjoying life to the fullest. She died peacefully in the company of loved ones. The hole in our hearts if filled with the love we have for her. Leona is survived by her four children, Joan Dunn of Dedham, Mass., Leona Nicks of Lake Havasu City, AZ., Irene McCarthy of Georgetown, Mass. and William Nunno of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Biagio Nunno and her infant daughter, Ilean Nunno. Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. All who knew Leona are welcome to attend.
