Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Lula B. Allen, 68, passed away on Friday, March 03, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on January 30, 1938 in Crooked Creek, Ill. to Roy and Vera Gaines. Lu, as she was known to her family and friends, moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. with her husband, Raymond 5 years ago. They were married on October 21, 1977. She was a member of the Christian Womens Club, Western Welcome Club and the Feminine Touch. Lu was a good kind soul that would light up a room whenever she walked in. She never knew a stranger and loved traveling, shopping, games and cooking. More than anything in life, Lu loved her family and friends. Lu will be deeply missed and always loved. Lu is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Raymond Allen of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; children, Vickie Dent, Terrence Monroe, Deborah Burkhead, Lela Wooldridge and LouAnn LaVarier; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; step children, David, James and Dewayne; 2 brothers and 1 sister. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and 2 sisters. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 07, 2006. Pastor Chad Garison will officiate.
