Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Lola Anderson, 77, passed away in Las Vegas, NV. on Thursday, December 15, 2005 from a Cerebral Hemmorage. She was born on January 04, 1928 in Lancing, Michigan to Willford Levi and Agnes Bernadett Tallman. Lola and her beloved husband of nearly 37 years, Marty, were married on December 31, 1968 in Lancing, MIchigan and ventured in many businesses together, including a Grocery Store, Stained Glass store in Malibu, CA. and recreationed frequently in Parker and Lake Havasu, AZ. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1985, coming from Parker and prior to that from Malibu, CA, where she lived for 13 years. Lola always was always making crafts and enjoyed Boat racing with Marty. In 1982 she moved to Parker, AZ. , purchasing a Mobile Home park and managed that for 5 long years. In 1985 they moved to Lake Havasu and Marty got his Real Estate License and Lola started a gift shop in town, naming it, "Lola's Gift Closet". She enjoyed 9 years of the retail business selling Fine collectibles Dolls and miniatures. In 1993 Lola had 2 Aneurysm surgeries 6 months apart which was a life changing time for her and Marty and brought an increasing appreciation for life, friends, family, children and especially the here after. Lola and Marty continued to travel, going on many cruises, road trips, etc. Lola enjoyed visiting, taking, boat rides and huming along in their new "Hummer" as well as the social activities here in Lake Havasu City. Lola belonged to the Lake Havasu Yacht Club, Western Welcome Club and the Christian Womens Club. Lola lived a full life and she will be surely missed by her loving family and friends. Lola is survived by her loving husband, Marty Anderson of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; son, Gary Pratt; daughters, Jodi Anderson and Lori Stein; grandchildren, Bond Pratt, Erik Gonzalez, Aaron Stein and Sarah Stein; brothers, Richard and Don Tallman. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Tallman. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Grace Episcopal Church at 2:00 PM with Reverend David Richardson officiating. In Lieu of flowers, Contributions can be made in Lola's name to Western Arizona Humane Society.
