Everyone knew him as The Little ‘Ol Man who was always walking. He decided to take another path...A different journey to another place.
Jeff Frances Trujillo was born on July 4, 1920 to Remigio and Aileen Trujillo. He passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side on Friday, May 10, 2013. Jeff has seen a lot...did a lot... been through a lot. He served his country in WWII with the 169th Signal Battalion and on October 19, 1946 he married the love of his life, Lois Cain. Jeff retired from the Southern Union Gas Company after working for 32 years.
During his retirement he began the hobby of carving carousel horses which at one point, was displayed at the Old Trails Museum. He also enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and his good friend Sonny Plese. Jeff was a proud and strong man and was always there for his family and friends whenever they needed him. He certainly defines what a true man should be and he will greatly be missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Trujillo; grand-daughters, Rebecca Trujillo, Susan (Tommy) Evans, Tammy (Terry) McDermott, Laurie Trujillo, Katherine ( Jimmy) Haynes and Veronica Andrews; 11 great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren;
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and his sons John, Mike and Patrick; brothers, Joseph and Johnny.
