Claude Bangs Flye, 90, of Sun Valley, died May 11, 2013, in Snowflake.
Services will be held Sunday at 11:45 a.m., at Sun Valley Church of the Nazarene, Sun Valley.

Claude Bangs Flye
August 17, 1922 - May 11, 2013
Celebration of Life for Claude Bangs Flye, 90, will be held at 11:45 am, Sunday, May 19th, 2013 at the Sun Valley Church of the Nazarene, Sun Valley, Arizona.
Claude was born on August 17, 1922 in Freedom, Maine. He passed away on May 11, 2013 from this life in Snowflake, Arizona. He awoke in Heaven in time to spend Mother’s Day with his mother.
Claude graduated from high school at Lincoln Academy in New Castle, Maine. Some years later he graduated from Bible School in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He later pastored churches in Fort Dodge, Iowa and Denver, Colorado. At the age of 62 he retired from being a custodian for the City and County of Denver. In 1993 he moved to Arizona and lived near Sun Valley Indian School.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris-Mae; two sons, Nathan of Oakland, California and Peter of Denver; his daughter, Claudia Mae and Bart Fletcher. He leaves 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
At a future date there will be a memorial service in Minnesota. Memorial gifts should be directed to the Sun Valley Indian School, 8450 S. Sun Valley Rd., Sun Valley, Arizona 86029.
