Lak Havasu Mortuary & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Knute E. Aune, 74, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on May 14, 1931 in Valley, Washington to Harold and Eleanor Aune. Knute was a Korean War Veteran, serving four years in the US Navy. He was married to Colleen M. Aune for 23 years. Knute moved to Lake Havasu City 2 months ago from Tacoma, WA. where he lived for 55 years. He was a Carpenter by trade for over 25 years. His memberships included the Sons of Norway, Carpenters Union in Tacoma, WA. and the Elks Club. Knute liked to play Pinocle and was a very loving father. He was very proud of his Norweigin ancestry. Knute will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Knute is survived by his daughters, Dara Deal of Fircrest, WA., Dana Davenport of Tacoma, WA. and Dawn Meyers of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; 3 son in laws, Jim, David and Le'voy; 5 grandchildren, Alex, Ashley, Lauren, Kenny and Lyndsay.
