CRAWFORD, Kendell Lee (Ken)


Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 15 to May 22, 2013 - Kendell Lee "Ken" Crawford, age 54, a former resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 after a long battle with liver failure at Desert Springs Medical Center, Las Vegas, Nev., with his wife, Katrina, and stepson, Jason, at his side. Ken was born on July 22, 1958 at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He traveled with his military family to Japan; Ogden, Utah; Washington, D.C.; Austin, Texas; Honolulu, Hawaii; and ended up in Bullhead City in 1974. Ken graduated from Mohave High School in 1976. He loved playing sports, favoring baseball and soft ball. He went to Eastern Arizona College for one year, playing football and baseball. He returned to Bullhead City and married his high school sweetheart, Sheri Harvey. Their son, James Andrew Crawford was born in August 1979. Ken is survived by his wife, Katrina Hall Crawford; son, Jimmy of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepson, Jason; parents, Andy and Miki Crawford of Bullhead City, Ariz.; sister, Peggy (Paul) Briesh of Des Moines, N.M.; brother, Randy (Vickie) Crawford; and many nieces and nephews, Will Briesh of Raton, N.M., Stef (John) Briesh-Taylor of Artesia, N.M., Jenn (Jody) Briesh-Roark of Clovis, N.M., T.C. (Sara) Crawford of Kingman, Ariz., Adam (Michelle) Crawford, and Matt (Jourdyn) Crawford of Bullhead City, Ariz., and their children. Ken was loved very much by his family and friends, he loved to laugh and was always quick to smile. He will be missed by all. "Ken was over six foot tall and so was his heart!" As per his request, there will be no services.
