Inez Colleen Cooper passed away on September 22, 2005, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Inez was born November 12, 1917, to Arthur A. Kearns and Grace May Booth Kearns in Shattuck, Oklahoma.
On October 14, 1930, tragedy struck the family when the parents and Viola, the baby, were killed in a train/car accident.
The remaining nine children were placed with family and friends. Being separated at an early age did not stop the children from being close until their deaths. Inez moved to Amarillo, Texas at age 18 to pursue a career in nursing.
She met and married Edward Eugene (Tutt) Cooper and raised four sons.
Inez is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Darrell and Ida Cooper of Phoenix, Duane and Meredith Cooper, Eddie and Ann Cooper, and Malcolm and Robin Cooper, all of Austin, Texas. Grandchildren: Doug Cooper, Stephanie Warner, Elizabeth Carsner, Chris Cooper, Teresa McCutcheon, Gabe Cooper, Ross Cooper, Kristen Cooper, Caroline Cooper, Champion Cooper, William Cooper. Great-Grandchildren: Ben Carsner, Robin Carsner, Claire Warner, Charlotte Warner and Baby McCutcheon. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched .
There will be visitation at 9:00 AM, Sunday, September 25, 2005, at Resthaven Park Mortuary & Cemetery, 4310 East Southern Ave., Phoenix. Services will be held at 10:00 AM and graveside services at 11:00 AM at the same location.
