Willcox Range News, Willcox, Arizona Monday, April 15, 2013 Margaret R. Smith, 83, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 in Mineral Wells. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Whites Funeral Home 101 N.E. 4th Ave. Mineral Wells, Texas. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Resthaven Cemetery 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas. The family will receive friends following the service on Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Margaret was born on Feb. 4, 1930 in Lamb County, Texas to Bud L. and Ruth Hedley Wilson. She married Boyd Smith Jan. 4, 1947 and together they owned and operated a farm in Arizona for 18 years. She has resided in Mineral Wells since 1983. She was a Methodist. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Bud L. and Ruth Wilson; a brother, Harmon Wilson; and a nephew, Jack Wilson. Margaret is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glenn and Evelyn Smith of Willcox, Ariz.; good friend, I.V.J. Melton of Ropesville; cousin, Bobby Nell Perkins of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
