MORGAN, Kathy

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Kathy Morgan (January 18, 1945 - May 16, 2013) Kathy joined her husband Gary, in heaven, Thursday May 16, 2013. She left this world, a grand legacy of 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 3 1/2 great grandchildren. All of whom will miss her dearly until they are together again, eternally. She also leaves three of her four siblings, who will truly miss their childhood nemisis, their best friend.... their sister. Kathy was an amazing woman, beautiful, fun, funny, generous loving and kind, an incredible cook, a hard worker, and a tireless friend. She proudly raised her own children and a few extra. She was born in Toledo Ohio and moved to Phoenix with her family as a teenager. She graduated from Cortez high school in 1963. In 1988 she, her husband, and youngest daughter, Becky, moved to Flagstaff where they lived for twenty very happy years. In 2006 she became unexpectedly widowed and ill and had to move back to Phoenix. True to her nature, she fought hard and long. But now she is truly home in the only place she loved more than Flagstaff - Happy. Friday May 24, at 11:30 we will lay Kathy to rest next to her husband at the Citizens Cemetery in Flagstaff Az. Prior there will be a one hour viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 at Norvel Owens Mortuary Flagstaff Az.
