BROOKS, Nancy

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, July 9, 2006 Nancy Cooper Brooks, 44, of Tempe died July 7, 2006. Nancy battled cancer with dignity and grace for five years. She was as loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She was born in Silver City New Mexico and grew up in Santa Fe New Mexico. She is a graduate of Santa Fe High School and the University of New Mexico. She is survived by her husband of eleven years Steve Brooks her daughter Kimberly and son Cooper. Survivors also include her father Robert Cooper and her brothers Robert, Douglas and Craig. She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy. There will be a Rosary Thursday July 13th 7:00 p.m. at Lakeshore Mortuary 1815 S. Dobson Rd. Mesa. The Memorial Mass will be Friday July 14th 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1810 E. Libra Drive Tempe. The family prefers that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a scholarship fund for Kimberly and Cooper, attention: Brooks Family Trust at 1403 E.
