GRAF, Donald F.


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, August 9, 2006 Donald F. Graf of Sun Lakes, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2006. He was born in Huntington, NY in 1927 and served in the Navy 1945-46 and in the Army 1951-1953 and received a commendation award for meritorious service while serving in Korea. Among his many achievements were completing a college degree, being a programmer on UNIVAC I in 1956, working 12 years in Europe in International marketing, and retiring after 10 years with an electric utility company. He was married over 55 years to the most beautiful and wonderful woman in the world , Chela, and was the father to six fantastic children; Mireya "Rey", Donald A. (Terri), Kevin J., Eric L. (Christine), Robert A. (Kimberly) and Cynthia "Louisa" (Mark). Also surviving him are 13 Grandchildren, 1 great grandson, a brother, Kenneth L. Graf, and sister, Muriel Baze. A visitation will be held 5-7 PM on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr. Chandler, AZ. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 11, 2006 at St. Steven's Catholic Church, 24827 S. Dobson Rd, Sun Lakes, AZ, with visitation at 9:00 AM and Rosary at 9:15. The family suggests contributions in Don's name to the American Diabetes Association, 9034 N. 23rd Ave, Ste 8, Phoenix, AZ 85021. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
