Kreuziger, Delanie "Del" Marie 66, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on September 16, 2008, at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer.
Born on March 22, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI. to Earl and Bernadine Anderson, Del was the oldest of all her sisters and brothers and helped to raise them.
So you see she was a Mom from the beginning, and became known as "Everyone's MOM." Del will forever be remembered for being a "MOM" to all who needed that type of guidance, as well as for her pillar of strength, courage, hope, love and faith that she displayed to whatever was put in her path.
She was always thinking of others first because that's what "MOMS" do, and she always found just the right words for what you needed to hear. Her greatest achievement and passion was being a "MOM" to her children and "Adopted Mom" to anyone else who needed that mom presence as well as her number one passion, being a grandmother to her only granddaughter that she adored beyond words and treasured every minute with, she is so proud of you Jeri Kendal.
Mom's ultimate gift was her willingness to help others without any conditions and often not taking credit for those things. She always made you feel like you were a part of her family from the moment you stepped inside her home.
She touched so many lives by her generous, unconditional and unwavering strength, courage, faith, and love of life; she has truly left us all a great example to follow. Mom wanted to give one final gift of herself, she arranged to be a Donor to LifeLegacy Foundation, so others might have the chance to go on living. Her Angel spirit will live on in the lives of so many.
Del will be sadly missed by her husband, David, son Mark, daughters Dawn and Mary, granddaughter Jeri Kendal, as well as her loyal four-legged companion, Casey.
Del was preceded in death by her beloved youngest son, John "Johnny", her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Del is also survived by three sisters, Dawn (Greg) Pudlik, Darlene Anderson, Denise (Steve) Mckenzie, four brothers, Donald (Joy), David (Carol), Daniel (Lucy), Dirk (Sally), as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends who treasured her every presence.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday October 25th, at 9:30 am. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church 3550 East Knox Road, Phoenix, AZ. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, AZ. A Celebration of Life will follow at the family's residence.
In lieu of flowers, please make a tribute donation to Del's favorite charity, Food For The Poor at; www.foodforthepoor.org or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Now we hear the swoosh of Your Angel Wings!
