TARABORELLI, Marie Theresa

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, August 1 to August 2, 2009 Taraborelli, Marie Theresa age 76, passed away July 30, 2009. She was born May 15, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA. Marie is survived by her husband Ernest Taraborelli, Sr., daughters Susan Roberts and Natalie Violi, son Ernest Taraborelli, Jr., grandchildren Erica Crownover, Andrew Roberts, and Nicholas Violi. She is also survived by siblings Rose Marino, Anna Ward, and Gina DeMaria. She is preceded in death by brothers Rocco Durante and James Durante. Marie relocated from Philadelphia to Arizona in 1965 where she made her home until her death. She was a generous and loving person who always had a kind word for everyone. She loved to entertain and made people feel very welcome with her cheerful smile and kind ways. She retired from Southwest Properties in 1995. She stayed busy in retirement with many activities that she enjoyed. She loved to read, take in a movie, play cards, Scrabble, Canasta and Mexican Train. Several times a week she exercised at the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center in Mesa. She also loved to travel and was a parishioner at Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was blessed with many wonderful friends and family members who loved her greatly. She will be missed by many. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m., August 3, 2009 at Queen of Heaven Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of the Southwest 450 N. Dobson, Suite 108 Mesa, AZ 85201. Please indicate "Taraborelli" on the memo line.
