Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Emily Martine (November 4, 1931 - May 18, 2013) Emily Martine born November 4, 1931 passed away on May 18, 2013. Her body will be escorted back to her residence in 7-mile, Arizona on Thursday, May 23, 2013 by family, friends and relatives at 10:00 am, for a 2 night wake. Funeral Services will be held at the East Fork Lutheran Church, officiating by Pastor Parsons on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10:00 am. Burial services will be at Taipah Cemetery in 7-mile. Survivors are her children Lyndon George, Joyner George, Monte George, Arnold George, Mary Ruth George, Wilbert George, Everett George and Lavern George and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, and many, many friends. Emily was a homemaker, and she worked at East Fork Nursery caring for infants and toddlers. She also worked at 7-mile elementary School as a teacher-aid for grade school. She moved her way up to help people with their health as a Community Health Representative for 15 years plus. She was also a member on the Land Board Committee and strongly held her Apache Traditional Language, and she was also the Cultural Advisory Board as well. She was always happy and always had a smile on her face. She will dearly be missed. Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona.
