BARNES, Theresa (Terry) Mary

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, November 10, 2011 Barnes, Theresa (Terry) Mary passed away on November 7, 2011, 79, of Chandler, AZ, was welcomed into heaven by the open arms of her Savior, Monday, November 7, 2011. Terry is survived by her loving husband, William, of 55 years and by her two sons Patrick (Laura), and Michael; three grandsons, Ryan, Jared, and Logan; brother Stanley (Janice) Czaplewski and sister Kathleen (Richard) Kinzer. After receiving her baccalaureate degree in nursing, Terry worked at St. Mary's Hospital for over 40 years as a teacher, nurse, and nursing services administrator. She enjoyed volunteering at her children's schools, St. Francis and St. Andrews churches, United Way, Chandler library and many other places. A vigil will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 10:00 with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Faith Community, 3450 W. Ray Rd., Chandler, AZ with a reception to follow. Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St. Francis Church in Rochester, MN, vigil at 12:30 pm, Mass at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Poverello Foundation (patients who cannot afford healthcare), Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
