The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, February 01, 2012 Heakins, Helen C. 80, of Mesa, AZ passed away in her home on Sunday, January 29, 2012. Helen, beloved wife of 46 years to David, loving mother of James, John (Yvonne), and Suzanne (Brandon), cherished grandmother of Jessica, Melanie and Siena, sister of Albert (deceased), Mary (of St. Louis, MO), Richard (of Flushing, MI) and aunt of many nieces and nephews was born in Flint, MI on April 6, 1931. She loved with a pure heart; her eyes were the window to her soul. She gave with a generous spirit, tirelessly caring for the comfort and happiness of others. She led by example, to those in her life, to accept and do the will of our Heavenly Father. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85204. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 1730 W. Guadalupe Rd., Mesa, AZ there will be a reception after the Mass at the Church with Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ.
