Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Ann M. Hamm passed away peacefully on May 16, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 88. She was born October 25, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Margaret and August Serio. Ann and her husband were married on September 13, 1952 and after 19 happy years Larry passed away and she raised her four children on her own. She enjoyed dancing, long nature walks and loved to travel. Ann worked as a Telephone Operator for Illinois Bell and has made Arizona her home for the last 3 years she also belonged to the Mothers Club and the Senior Clubs. Ann is survived by her son David L. Hamm (Robin) of Naperville, IL; daughters Deborah Goodpastor (Gary) of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Darlene Hamm of Elgin, IL and Donna Zydek (Matthew) of Orland Hills, IL; granddaughters Tanya Carpenter of FL, Vanessa Deleon of IL and Ally Hamm of IL; grandsons Steve Carpenter of IN, Bill Carpenter of TN, Zachary Hamm of IL and Nick Hamm of IL. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence R. Hamm, brother Joey Serio, sister Josephine O’Brien and her partner Matt Waliszewski. Services will be held at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ann’s name to Beacon of Hope., 500 N.
