Chester, Randolph 56, of Ft. McDowell, Az., passed away November 8th, 2010 at the V. A. Medical Center.
Born in Miami, AZ, he grew up in Miami until his enlistment in the US Navy., serving at sea during the VietNam Conflict from 1974 thru 1979.
Upon returning home, he enrolled at Maricopa Tech and received an Associates degree in Architecture. He practiced as a draftsman for a few years until his illness would not allow him to work again.
Eventually, he became a resident of the Veterans Nursing Home until his demise.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyne R. Chester, sisters Roselynn Chester, Rebecca Warrington, 3 nieces, Saphira Chester, April Chester and Madonna Luna and 2 nephews, Aaron Chester and Donovan Warrington III. and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm, Monday, Nov. 15th, at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 Saguaro Blvd, Fountain Hills and Funeral will be at the Gymnasium at Fort McDowell, 16402 N. Ft. McDowell Rd., Ft McDowell, 11 :00 am, Tuesday, Nov. 16th, 2010.
