Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Alice Jean Babbitt passed away November 24, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 89. She was born to Wilbur and Alice (Willits) McElroy on August 19, 1918 in Akron, OH. “Jeanne” as she was known to her family and friends enjoyed being a homemaker. She liked to cook, read, go bowling and golfing. Her family meant everything to her and she will be dearly missed by all. Jeanne is survived by her beloved family, son, James (Peggy) Babbitt of Chino Valley, AZ; daughter, Judy (George) Rada of Lake Havasu; sister, Grace Hemry of Oakhurst, CA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George Babbitt; daughter, Peggy Norris and brother, Wilbur McElroy. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Seligman, MO.
