BOND, Hyrum Kenneth (Ken)


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, May 04, 2006 Hyrum Kenneth Bond, 61, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on April 30, 2006. Ken was born in 1944 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ernest Bond and Betty Roundy. He grew up in Idaho and Montana. He served in the Vietnam War as an Airborne Ranger. He married Mary Louise Barrow in 1965. Ken graduated from BYU Provo in 1983 with a business degree. Ken and Mary resided in Mesa, Arizona for the last 21 years raising their family. He was a loving father and grandfather. Ken worked for UBS Financial Services as a Vice President/ Investment Portfolio Manager in Scottsdale Arizona. Ken is survived by his wife, Mary and their six children Ken Jr. (Carrie), Heather (Doug) Fuller, Christopher (Laura), Andrew (Jessika), Michael (Cambree), Jamie (Chris) Dwiggins, and 15 grandchildren Butch, Saley, Colton, Greydon, Madison, Cooper, Allie, Aubrey, Afton, Jorja, Robbie, Jace, Kendra, Beau, and Noah. Also 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Preceded by his parents and 1 brother. The viewing will be held Saturday May 6, 2006 at 9:00 am at the LDS Chapel, 2220 N. Harris in Mesa, Arizona. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Arrangements were made by Harper Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund..
