Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona RAYMOND "RAYMIE" LEE GREASEWOOD JR. (July 3, 1995 - May 26, 2013) Raymond Lee Greasewood, Jr., also known as “Raymie”, was born on July 3, 1995 in Whiteriver, Arizona and was a graduate of Alchesay High School, Class of 2013; having graduated on May 17, 2013. Raymond was called home by our Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of May 26, 2013 in Whiteriver, Arizona. Raymond was creative, caring, imaginative, artistic, outspoken, and smart. He loved animals, especially cats, and music, but, above all, he loved his family. There was a special place in Raymond’s heart for two children he loved very much, namely, his nephew Shane Whitehat and friend, Alexia Jimenez Raymond is survived by his mother, LouEllen Massey Greasewood of Whiteriver, Arizona and his father Raymond Greasewood, Sr. and step-mother Janet Greasewood of Cibecue, Arizona. Raymond leaves his sisters, RaeEllen Greasewood Hinton, Ayla Greasewood, and DesiRae Greasewood and his brothers, Darwin Aday, Aubrey Aday, Jr., and Noah Shaw, his maternal grandmother Louella Nastivar Massey, all of Whiteriver, Arizona and his paternal grandparents, Virgil and Ada Nez of Dilcon, Arizona. Raymond is also survived by many aunts and uncles and on his maternal side are: Randall (John) and Roberta Massey Aday, Randall Jr. and Janice Massey, Randy Massey, Arlene Massey and Armstrong Victor, and on his paternal side are Johnny and Tina Greasewood, David and Linda Greasewood, Norman Greasewood, and Leon and Rena Tsosie, all from Indian Wells, Arizona. Raymond also leaves behind his BFF, Davison Lee Dickson and his godparents Bob and Carol Kasey. Raymond’s body will be brought back to the family home in Turkey Creek, Arizona on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. for the Wake. His body will be escorted from the Turkey Creek Rodeo Grounds turnoff to the family home by his former classmates, family and friends. The family request that all escorts wear Raymond’s favorite colors of blue or purple. Everyone, including, gospel singers, speakers, and tribal representatives are invited to the Wake. The Funeral will be on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with Pastor Robert Jimenez of the Whiteriver Assembly of God officiating. Interment will follow at the Solid Rock Cemetery in Seven Mile, Arizona.
