DIGENO, Mike

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/31/2013 Mike Digeno of Pinetop and Phoenix died May 22, 2013, in Mesa, surrounded by his wife and children. He was born Oct. 27, 1947, in Jersey City, N.J. Mike was a respected member of the community, the restaurant industry, VFW and the chamber of commerce. He will be remembered as a loving, caring husband, father, papa and a faithful friend. Mike is survived by his wife Sherry Digeno; two brothers: Joseph Digeno (Tana) and Leonard Digeno; stepmother Edith Digeno; four children: Jill Greenberg (Jeremy), Nick Digeno, Gregory Scallon (Stephanie), Dena Scallon (Lerina) and 11 grandchildren. Per his request, there will be no service. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. A memorial website has been set up in his honor through the Arthritis Foundation at www.arthritis.org
