HENKE, Robert G. (Bob)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, February 25, 2009 Henke, Robert G. born July 4, 1920 in Reading, PA., passed away on January 27, 2009 in the loving care of his family and Odyssey in Mesa, AZ. He is survived by 2 daughters, Faith and Christine, 1 son Robert C., 3 sisters, 1 brother, 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Thelma "Billie" and son Neal. Bob was well known in his profession as a musicians Musician. Music and his family were his life. He taught and performed on the organ and piano until he was 86 years young. He proudly served his country in the Army. He was a stranger to no one and always ready with a joke. He will be missed by the many lives he touched. Funeral Mass will be held on March 2, 2009, 10:00am at St. Timothy's Church, 1730 W. Guadalupe, Mesa, AZ 85202. Immediately following will be the inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please contact Odyssey regarding their needs.
