ADAMSON, Beatrice

The News & Advance, Lynchburg, VA May 10, 2013 Beatrice Ferguson Adamson, formerly of Nelson County, died peacefully at her son's home in Gilbert, Arizona, Tuesday, May 7, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Adamson; father and mother, Sidney Gordon Ferguson and Venie Kidd Ferguson; brother, William Sydney Ferguson; and sister, Mary Frances Ferguson Campbell. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Don and Jan Adamson, Pat and Bob Hubbell and Sandy Robison; her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon Wayne Ferguson; sisters, Florence Ferguson Dawson and Rebecca Ferguson Finnegan; sister-in-law, Carol Ferguson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Beatrice was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II where she served as Dental Hygienist. She along with her husband, Ned, who was an U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force veteran, lived in many places throughout their military careers.
