MORNINGSTAR, Janet Ann

(Maiden Name: Fluent)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, June 02, 2013 Janet Ann (Fluent) Morningstar, 72, born Dec. 8, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pa., succumbed to cancer at sunrise on May 23, 2013. Janet worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Washington, D.C., office in the personnel division as a clerk typist in the late '50s to early '60s. While employed with the FBI, she received two letters of commendation from Mr. Hoover and an autographed book and photo. Janet left the FBI to become a devoted wife and mother. She was not only a blessing but also a gift from God to her husband of 54 years, David Morningstar, USMC Ret., and three daughters, including Darlene Morningstar, who retired from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department with 20-plus years of service. Janet touched many people's lives with her volunteer service to the elderly in her community. She was also a former vice president of the Phoenix chapter of the Society of FBI Alumni Inc. The loss of Janet is great and she will be missed immensely. She will be met in heaven by her friends Ivy and MaryAnn. We thank God for the opportunity to have been blessed with such a beautiful gift as Janet Ann Morningstar. Interment will be at a later date. Information provided by survivors.
