West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Tuesday, June 04, 2013 Judy Chiem Mills, 70, of Avondale died May 30, 2013, from cancer. Mrs. Mills was born March 10, 1943, in Udorn, Thailand. She was a chef. She obtained citizenship in February 2006. She was selected for and completed the Culinary Upgrade Program at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. She was awarded many quarterly employee awards at various places of employment. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, David Mills; three daughters, Debora Fernandez, Dawn Huyser and Darren Mills; three sons, Gary Reed, Thomas Reed and Robert Reed; several siblings in Florida and Thailand; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave. in Avondale, with a service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N.
