Died: 2/8/2010 in Scottsdale, AZ.
This beautiful farmer's daughter moved west to Mesa, AZ with her family in 1936. Her father, Kelly, introduced Dorothy Ussery to a handsome ranch hand.
On June 10, 1939, Dorothy married that ranch hand, Ted Faultner. They had 5 children together, one died at birth. They were married 33 years until Ted died. She never remarried.
She is preceded in death by her parents, both sisters and 1 brother, her stillborn child and the "Love of her life", Ted.
Her children, Daniel, Violet Martin, Donald and Dennis, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a multitude of great-great grandchildren and a host of friends and "church family" survive her. Dorothy began her service to God in Sept. 1947. She remained faithful to God and her church until the very last breath.
A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at East Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Thursday 2/11/10, with services at 10:00 am Friday 2/12/10 (Dad's birthday).
