WEBER, Lorin Dee


Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Lorin Dee Weber (August 2, 1928 - June 4, 2013) Lorin Dee Weber, 84, passed away peacefully June 4, 2013, in Snowflake, Arizona. He was born August 2, 1928, in Rexburg Idaho, to Alexander and Florence May Weber. He was the second of four children. Lorin graduated from Rigby (Idaho) High School, and Ricks College, (Rexburg, Idaho). After serving his country during the Korean War, he did graduate work at Brigham Young University where he met and married Gale Wilde on December 28, 1954, in the Salt Lake Temple. He ultimately earned a Masters Degree from the University of Tennessee (Oakridge). After working for the National Reactor Testing Station in Arco, Idaho, he taught Math and Physics at Ricks College from 1964-1994. Lorin dedicated his life to the Lord and his family. He was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed working in the Snowflake Temple and led an exemplary life of service and hard work—especially behind the scenes. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Lorin. He is survived by his wife, Gale, and children: Brent, Steven, LaRene, Douglas, Matthew, and Rachel. Services are pending at this time.
