Cole Kite
On May 29, 2013, we lost a very sweet and kind soul. Cole Kite, of Black Canyon City, succumbed to lung cancer, after only being diagnosed on Dec. 12, 2012. He was born on May 5, 1948.
He is survived by his wife Tawny of 44 years; brother Tom, wife Sylvia and family from California; daughter Brandie and husband Mike; son Brian and wife Kelly. There are eight grandchildren, Brittney, Justin and wife Jessica, Matthew and Wyatt Sims, and Kayla and husband Nick, Tanner and wife Ariel, Baylee and Terah Kite. We were blessed with a great granddaughter in November, Leah Marie Kite.
Cole was the kind of man who would help anyone at anytime. He had many occupations but I think he loved being a husband, father, grandfather and friend most of all. He loved his music, playing in bands in Colorado and here in Arizona. He was a native of Arizona and very proud of it. He will very much be missed. One of the grandkids called him a "sweet, sweet, redneck Gpa" and that's how we will remember him.
He paved his own way in life and loved every day of it. Rest in peace my love, you're finally out of pain and we know you have met your musician buddies and are having one hell of a jam session! I will see you again.
Condolences may be mailed to P.O. Box 548, Black Canyon City, AZ 85324. Private family service will take place at a later date.
