KISNER, John Junior


Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on June 6, 2013 - John Junior Kisner, 78, was born Oct. 30, 1934, in Spearville, Kan., to John A. and Marybell Kisner. He is survived by his wife, Eve A. Kisner of Truxton, Ariz.; his sons, Rob Kisner of Kingman and Andy (Decharme) Kisner of North Las Vegas, Nev.; his brother, Gaylor Kisner of Dodge City, Kan.; his sister, Frances Bostrom of Lakin, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. John loved bowling, sand buggying, off-road racing, camping, fishing, hunting and traveling, and especially spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Lions Club, Moose Lodge, the VFW in Parker and the American Legion in Big River, Calif. John served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as an RV technician, a plumber and construction foreman. He was the maintenance mechanic at the Indian Health Center in Peach Springs. Services will be at 1 p.m. June 23, 2013, at the Kingman Elks Lodge, 900 Gates Ave. The family requests memorials be given to the Joan and Diana Hospice Home, 812 Airway Ave., Kingman, AZ 86409.
