Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from June 7 to June 14, 2013 - ~Richard Edward Dukie, age 72, a 12-year resident of Laughlin, Nev., passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at home. ~He was born on October 24, 1940. Richard was a retired Longshoreman of 45 years and he loved shooting, fishing and traveling. ~He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Gail Dukie, son, John Dukie of Las Vegas, Nev.; three daughters, Jaclyn Cortez of Laughlin, Nev., Tracey (Phil) Zavodny of Williamsburg, Va., and Brandy (Grant) Bryson of Canada; five grandchildren, Ashley Cortez of Laughlin, Nev., Joseph Chizer of Syracuse, N.Y., Megan and Jordan Zavodny of Williamsburg, Va.; and Owen Bryson of Canada; and numerous family and friends. ~Services will be held at at 12:00 noon on June 8, 2013, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 3055 El Mirage Way, Laughlin, Nev. Father Charlie Urnick will officate. ~Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens, 9250 South Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Ariz. ~Arrangements are under the care of Desert Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
