Shirley M. Gardner, 85, of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away June 6, 2013. She was born Nov. 15, 1927, in Wolbach, Neb., to Arden and Ruth Lawhead. 

She is preceded in death by F.M. Gardner Jr.

Shirley is survived by children Lorrene (Jim) Hicks, Joyce (Bill) Dalton, Mary Jo Newstead and Floyd M. Gardner; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service for the family will be at a later date.
