DONNELL, Philip Gary (Phil)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, June 09, 2013 Philip Gary Donnell, 73, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2013, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born on May 17, 1940, in Erie, Pa., to Clyde and Irene Donnell. Phil served in the Army for four years. He retired from APS after 24 years. He loved his country, friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Phil was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan; daughter Heather; son Barry; two grandchildren, Steven and Claire; sister Jean; brother Gerald; nieces and nephews; and his cat "Whiskers." A memorial service for Phil will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the VA Chapel, 500 S. Highway 89, Prescott, Ariz. A reception will follow from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Calvary Chapel, 2313 Highway 69, Prescott. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
