ObitsArizona.com Barbara Joan Horstmann July 22, 1937 ~ June 10, 2013 Our Mother passed away June 10, 2013 in American Fork, UT. She was born July 22, 1937 to Paul and Evalyn Karns in Plainfield, IA. She worked for First American Title Insurance Company as an escrow officer and office manager for 35 years. Barbara, liked to bowl and spend time in the out doors. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her three children which she served tirelessly raising them on her own. She is survived by her three children, Tamara J. Picanco, Gregory D. Gruver, Teresa L. Parker, 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two husbands Jerald W Gruver and Amos C. Horstmann. She will be laid to rest at a later date by her family in Plainfield, IA.
