ORTIZ, Alfred Stephen

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 Alfred Stephen Ortiz, age 59, was taken to heaven on June 2, 2013. He was born to Cora and Ben Ortiz in Miami, Ariz. on Oct. 9, 1953. Alfred was a 1971 graduate of Miami High School. He is predeceased by his mother, Cora J. Ortiz; first wife, Zelda Repnak; and third wife, Kathy Hintz. He leaves behind his father, Ben Y. Ortiz; brother, Beny; sisters, Bernice, Denise and Cecilia; his beautiful sons, Tim, Alfred Jr.; step-sons, Paul and James; step-daughter, Janell; second wife, Janice; and nephew, Dominic. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, who he loved very much — Stephen, Baylee, Alex, and Alexis. He was truly a great man, always helping someone in need. He will be greatly missed. He was a hard worker, working as a back-hoe operator for 35 years. He love to be on the back-hoe. In his spare time, he loved fixing up his home and barn. He also loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was an excellent cook, and loved making dishes for the entire family, from green chili rellenos to crab enchiladas. We love you Dad, Brother, Son, Tata, Tio, Nephew, and dear friend. A true heart of gold! You made it.
