McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel, Safford, Arizona Darlene D. Felsinger September 27, 1956 ~ June 8, 2013 Darlene Denise Felsinger, 56 of Gilbert formerly of Solomon, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, June 8, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 27, 1956 in Dunkirk, NY, to Richard Dudek and Evelyn Stevens Dudek. She married Jim Felsinger on July 22, 1977 in Safford. Jim passed away on January 9, 2009 in Safford. Darlene moved to Safford in 1971. She attended high school in Safford and Thatcher. Many may know her for the many hours she spent cleaning homes in the Gila Valley. She loved so many of the people she worked for. She dearly loved her family especially her grandchildren. She moved to Gilbert in 2012. She is survived by her son, Brody Felsinger of Gilbert; daughters, Tessa Crist of Gilbert, Shyla Felsinger of Solomon, Shanda Felsinger of Solomon, and Amy (Oscar) Reyes of Mesa; sisters, Roxanne (Jim) Wiggins of Chandler, and Linda (Willard) Harbison of Safford; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; brothers, Alex and Dennis; and a son-in-law Sam. Viewing will be on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at Caldwell Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
