DETMERING, JR., Earl Christopher

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, June 12, 2013 Earl Christopher Detmering Jr. passed away in his home at North Ranch RV Park in Congress on June 2, [2013]. He was 86. Earl was born to Earl and Dolores (Funk) Detmering on Dec. 18, 1926 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He retired from military service after serving in World War II through the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his wife Shirley (Jergensen) Detmering; children Susan Morse of Lakewood, Colo., Chrys Beal of Midland, Texas, and Timothy Detmering of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment of ashes will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M.
