Larry Phillips, 51, of Avondale, died June 10, 2013.
He was born October 16, 1961 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Larry worked as an EMT at Flagstaff EMS and later was a Sgt. with the Department of Corrections.
In the last nine years, he worked as the IT Director for the Agua Fria High School District. Larry was involved with the Boy Scouts of America; served as an active member of the Millennium Band Boosters; and on the media team at Palm Valley Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Phillips; sons Brandon Phillips, Chris Stinson, Tim Stinson; brother Harley (Debbie) Phillips and three nieces, Kristen, Shelly and Erin.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rosemarie J. Phillips and brother Richard Phillips.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 15th at Palm Valley Church, 431 N. Litchfield Rd in Goodyear, AZ.

Larry Phillips, 51, of Avondale died June 10, 2013.
Mr. Phillips was born Oct. 16, 1961, in Flagstaff to Rosemarie J. Phillips.
He worked as an emergency medical technician at Flagstaff Emergency Medical Services and later was a sergeant with the Department of Corrections. For the last nine years, he worked as the information technology director for the Agua Fria Union High School District.
He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, served as an active member of the Millennium High School Band Boosters and was on the media team at Palm Valley Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Phillips; three sons, Brandon Phillips, Chris Stinson and Tim Stinson; and one brother, Harley Phillips.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Palm Valley Church, 431 N. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
