Spangler, resident of Cottonwood, born March 30, 1933 in Kentland, Indiana, passed on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. He was 74 years of age. He served his country in the United States Navy. Professionally, he worked as a mail carrier for the Untied States Postal Service. Robert leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Larraine of Cottonwood; his daughter, Shirley, husband, Larry also of Cottonwood; two sisters, Carolyn, husband, Dick, and Barbara - all of Indiana. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Private Family Services will be held at a later date-please contact the family for information. Robert will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Cave Creek, Arizona.
