Gene E. Rymer passed away at age 88, June 4, 2013 from leukemia.

An early settler, he moved here in 1969 from Shavertown, Penn., with his family. Gene worked at McCulloch Chain Saw with his wife, Irene, until retirement. He was a member the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; and son, Gene Jr.

A Mass will take place Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
