LeRoy Haugen was born October 1, 1935, in Portland, OR. He was the son of LeRoy F. Haugen and Lucille L. Oatman. LeRoy passed away June 8, 2013, in his home at Ligurta Station in Wellton, AZ. 

LeRoy was survived by his wife, Florence; sons, Steve and Gary Clark; daughters, Cheryl Lehne and Amy Baxley, as well as two grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. 

He spent the last 13 years doing what he loved most fishing the Oregon Coast with his friends in the summer and golfing with his many friends in Arizona during the winter.
