The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, June 16, 2013 Dean Morgan Curry Born on Sept. 15, 1981, in Flagstaff, Ariz., Dean Morgan Curry took God's hand and returned home on May 19, 2013. He had a deep passion for people, music and computers, and dedicated himself to a very successful career specializing in computer information security. At the age of 13, Dean began his college studies; at the age of 14, he became the youngest Certified Novell Administrator (CNA); and at 15, the youngest Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) in the world. While in high school, Dean studied mathematics and physics at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He also played the clarinet in several youth symphony orchestras through high school. After graduating from Bradshaw Mountain High School in 2000 in Prescott, Ariz., Dean was offered full-ride scholarships from prestigious universities, but instead took a job as an operations engineer with a Fortune 100 company in Washington D.C. Dean's work assignments took him to many exciting places, including Hong Kong, China. Dean's intense quest for knowledge never stopped and, at the age of 30, he maintained over 13 highly specialized and advanced certifications in his career field. Dean is survived by his parents, Robert Dean and Sharon J. Curry; his brother Drew (Serena) Curry; and nephews Austin and Tanner Curry. He is also survived by his granddad Dean B. Curry and grandmother Carol J. Herrin, as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. He will be dearly missed by family, friends and colleagues who loved and respected him. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at First United Methodist Church, 15 E. First Street, Mesa, AZ 85210. Remembrance and reception following.
