Meldrum Mortuary & Crematory, Mesa, Arizona Roland Dean Ellsworth September 30, 1930 ~ June 13, 2013 Roland Dean Ellsworth, 82, passed away on June 13, 2013 at his home in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on September 30, 1930 in South Gate, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lorenzo & Nellie June Ellsworth and his sister, Helen Ellsworth Sadowski. Roland is survived by his wife, Nellie Josephine Ellsworth and their 4 children, Richard (Erin), Ronda (David), William (Barbara) and Dennis (Marilyn). They have 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Orrin, Lyle and Mary Lea Ellsworth. Roland was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean conflict. He was a long time truck driver for the dairies of Bordens, Shamrock and Circle K. Roland was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved his family and was grateful to be sealed to them for eternity. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00 am at the LDS Solomon Ward, 977 East Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85204. Services will be preceded by a visitation at 9:00 am. Burial will be Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10:00 AM at East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ.
