West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 Donald H. Sims, 73, of Buckeye died June 5, 2013. Mr. Sims was born April 13, 1940, in Dierks, Ark., to Adele and Robert Sims. He served in the Marine Corps, where he was awarded a Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. He was a vendor at the Goodyear Swapmart for years and then moved to the new SwapSmart when it closed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Sims. He is survived by four children, Joyce "Nicki", Michelle, Mary and Lawrence; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
